MODO is a construction management and development firm based in St. Petersburg, Florida, delivering high-quality multifamily, commercial, and community-focused projects throughout West-Central Florida. Our Story

MODO was founded by Donald Odom, Jr., a construction professional with over 20 years of experience across the Tampa Bay region and beyond. Donald has led projects of varying types and scales—including multifamily housing, commercial buildings, faith-based facilities, and community development initiatives—guiding them through preconstruction, design coordination, zoning and permitting, procurement, and full construction management.

His portfolio includes large, complex projects as well as neighborhood-scale developments, giving him a deep understanding of both technical execution and the unique needs of local communities. Donald’s experience working with local governments, nonprofit organizations, private developers, and mission-driven groups allows MODO to navigate public-private partnerships, funding strategies, and community-centered development with confidence and precision.

Donald holds a Bachelor’s in Building Construction from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of South Florida, blending technical expertise with strategic business insight. His leadership style emphasizes communication, integrity, and service—core values that define MODO’s work.
